Overview
I spent 27 years building and leading RSI to becoming one of the most successful employee benefits consulting/brokerage firms in the country. During that time, we won more than a dozen awards including:
- 7 times named one of the Best Places to Work
- 4 times named one of the Fastest Growing Privately-held Companies
- Winner of NJ's highest award for quality - The Governor's Award for Performance Excellence - Gold Level (2006)
We sold RSI to Gallagher Benefit Services (GBS) in 2008 and I retired from the industry in 2010.
More than anything, RSI was known for its extraordinary organizational culture. In response to many requests, in 2011 I wrote and published Fundamentally Different, the book that explains how to create a high performance culture through organizational values. It's a book based on the many lessons I learned, and in turn, taught during my leadership career.
Today, in addition to promoting the book and writing articles, I'm a frequent guest speaker, seminar leader, and consultant focused on helping companies achieve maximum success through leadership, organizational culture, and organizatioonal values
